Frequently asked questions
How do I find a PMHNP?
Search by name, city, or state, then call the number on the listing.
Where do the listings come from?
The public NPI registry. If a phone is wrong, the provider should update it there and can also update it here after claiming.
How does a provider claim a listing?
Create an account, find the name, enter the NPI. The NPI registry name and state must match the listing. The admin approves it. Then an active $10.99 a month subscription starts membership, with editing, the member card and the Verified badge.
Can a practice manage a listing?
Yes. A practice request must match the name and NPI. After approval, the practice can pay $10.99 a month and edit. The provider and the practice can both edit. Patients see the most recent save.
What does $10.99 include?
Individual membership includes a downloadable member card, edit access, first place in search and a Verified badge. A separate practice payment provides editing and the same Verified badge if only the practice pays. Partner discounts will be added when a company agrees.
What is the member card?
It is a downloadable PMHNP.com membership card on the provider Dashboard after admin approval and an active subscription. Your NPI is your member ID; there is no second number. It is valid only while your membership is paid and active. It is not a license or certification. When the subscription ends, the card and Download card button are hidden.
Does this site provide care?
No. In a crisis, call or text 988.
